The SHMBE Bar and Bat Mitzvah Program is a very personal way for one to honor The Father. Living in Torah with Yeshua as our filter, guide and King, takes one into a walk like no other, The Scriptures come alive with true meaning and our chalacha, our walk changes as we grown into Torah. The Bar and Bat Mitzvah program is open to anyone, ages 13 to 100 and older! At any time in our life, it is the right time to show YHWH our respect for Him and His Ten Words, His statutes and ordinances. At any time in our life, is the right time to show Him our unconditional love for Him.

Hannah Johnson began the Bar/Bat Mitzvah program soon after she completed hers in 2006 in Denver, CO. She has guided a number of young and old people alike to the calling of the Bar or Bat Mitzvah. A mother of a busy toddler, she still has time to compose her own music, performing on the SHMBE praise team. She has been to Israel several times, loving the land, the people and the Torah.
Joanne Snell assists Hannah with the Bar ant Mitzvah class every other Shabbat at 9:30am. Students enrolled in this class study the Hebrew language, learn Hebrew Biblical blessings, learn about the feast days, Torah portions, commandments, and how to serve in the ministry. Joanne has been actively pursuing Yah’s will all of her life. She has a heart to encourage others, especially to call others to a higher standard. Learning Hebrew and studying the commandments are some of her favorites! She loves homeschooling her own children and enjoying time with her family in the great outdoors.
